Electromechanical technician

The role

You diagnose faults, swap a component, follow a schematic. The role mixes preventive work and production emergencies.

A DEP and competency card are the typical profile. Shifts rotate: this is a floor job.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot motors, drives, sensors, cylinders and circuits
• Read electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics
• Carry out preventive maintenance and log the work
• Support mechanics and operators during a stop
• Follow lockout and safety procedures

Profile we look for

Troubleshooting already practised: hydraulics, pneumatics, industrial electricity.

DEP and competency card strongly preferred. Floor autonomy is essential.

Assets

• PLCs / drives
• Food or manufacturing experience
• Driver’s licence for more than one site

• Permanent full-time role, rotating shifts
• Pay: $32 to $40/hr
• A real maintenance trade, not an observer seat
