Forklift operator

The role

You own stock movement: receiving, put-away, picking and the dock. This is not a fill-in role — flow depends on your accuracy and pace.

The employer wants someone who already knows the truck, stores cleanly, and flags an unstable pallet before it becomes a problem. Talendus only presents your file if it fits.

What you will do

• Operate the forklift (counterbalance / reach depending on site) safely
• Receive, identify and store goods according to the slotting plan
• Prepare orders and load docks without breaking the team’s pace
• Keep stock counts and report variances to the supervisor
• Follow storage rules, pedestrian zones and PPE

Profile we look for

Valid forklift permit and at least one year in a warehouse or DC.

You can read a pick list, store straight, and you do not improvise with a poorly strapped load.

Assets

• WMS or scan experience
• Availability for an evening fill-in
• Competency card

What the mandate includes

• Permanent full-time role, day shift
• Pay: $22 to $26/hr depending on experience
• Group insurance once in post
